10/10 Would Cry in Public Again. This book wrecked me in the best possible way — packed with heart, humor, and raw emotion. The writing is gorgeous without trying too hard, and the emotional payoff? Absolutely unforgettable.

Though I was more of the pop fangirl, I still loved some emo bands back in the day, and it was every girl's dream to be picked to work with the band. Elias is a tortured soul, but there are people who see the good in him, and will always remind him of that.

This book is so much more than a mere rockstar romance. It's an experience where you're completely immersed, transported and lost into a world of music — something only a true lover of music could portray and execute into words.

From the very beginning, it felt like I was being pulled straight into a world that understands what it means to feel like you don't quite belong anywhere — until you find a scene, a sound, a place that finally makes sense of the chaos inside you.
